Mayflower Society Application
The Society of Mayflower descendants in the state of North Dakota
The General Society of Mayflower Descendants has state level societies also. It is through these state societies that membership at the national level is accomplished. Members of the General Society are also members of a state society.
If you are interesting in joining both the North Dakota and General Societies of Mayflower Descendants, you will need to document your lineage back to one of the Mayflower passengers with known descendants. Anyone who can provide this ancestry may join.
The best documentation is vital records, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates for each person in the list on the Line of Descent form (left column). Other documentation sources may be published genealogies, family documents and other official records. After the initial review, you will receive your personalized worksheet and instruction guide. Note that if you have a relative who is, or was, a member of the Mayflower Society, their lineage documentation may be of help to you.
